- SI Leader, General Tutoring, and Office Assistant Positions

If you are interested in part-time employment as an SI Leader, Tutor (math, accounting, science, or Spanish), or Office Assistant at the Center for Academic Student
Achievement, you may fill out the General Application. All applicants must
have a 3.0 overall GPA to be considered for employment. Transcripts and
references are required. At least two references must be faculty. You can email the application to
leticia.villarreal@tamucc.edu or fax to 361.825.6049.

- Writing and Reading Positions

If you are interested in a part-time position as a CASA Writing Center
Consultant or Reading Specialist, please complete the Writing Consultant or
Reading Specialist application. All applicants must
have a 3.0 overall GPA to be considered for employment. Transcripts and
references are required. At least two references must be faculty. You can
email all Writing Consultant or Reading Specialist application materials to noelle.ballmer@tamucc.edu.

- Islander Success Advocate Positions

If you are interested in becoming an Islander Success Advocate at the Center for Academic Student
Achievement, you may fill out the Islander Success Advocate application. All
applicants must have a 3.0 overall GPA, excellent communication skills, and
knowledge/first hand experience regarding university services to be considered
for employment. References are required. Any questions about the ISA application

- First Scholars' Academy Mentor Positions

If you are interested in becoming a First Scholars' Academy Mentor at the Center for Academic Student
Achievement, you may fill out the First Scholars' Academy Mentor application. All
applicants must be a first generation student, be an upper classman or graduate student, and have a 3.0 overall GPA
to be considered for employment. References are required. Any questions about the FSA Mentor application
