CASA is seeking to fill multiple student employee positions for the Fall 2017 semester including: Writing Center Consultants, Tutors, Supplemental Instruction Leaders, & Peer Mentors. 


Technical Assistant Positions

CASA Technical Assistants work with students and CASA staff throughout the semester to ensure that all technical needs are met. The technical assistant role is to support in-house computer systems and peripherals by diagnosing, maintaining and upgrading equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. Additionally, this person will be responsible for assisting CASA staff member with all IT related inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Office Assistant Positions

If you are interested in a part-time position as a CASA Office Assistant, please complete the application below. All applicants must have a 3.0 overall GPA to be considered for employment. CASA Learning Community Mentor Positions (All Positions Currently Filled)

Learning Community Mentors work with students throughout the semester and help guide them during the registration process, make referrals for CASA services, campus departments, and answer student questions and concerns using their extensive first hand expertise and experience.  Embedded in the First-Year Learning Community courses, the Mentors provide workshops and guidance on academic success strategies in alignment with what is taught in the classroom. First Islander Scholars' Academy Mentor Positions

If you are interested in becoming a First Islander Scholars' Academy Mentor at the Center for Academic Student Achievement, you may fill out the First Islander Scholars' Academy Mentor application. All applicants must be a first generation student, be an upperclassman or graduate student, and have a 3.0 overall GPA  to be considered for employment. References are required. Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction Leader Positions

If you are interested in part-time employment as a Tutor or Supplemental Instruction Leader at the Center for Academic StudentAchievement, you may fill out the Application below. All applicants must have a 3.0 overall GPA to be considered for employment. Transcripts and references are required. At least two references must be faculty.
